The last edition of IAAPA Expo Europe was held in London from 12 September 2022 to 15 September 2022. IAAPA Expo is a unique event on the European map of the leisure and entertainment industries. This year, over three days in London at ExCel trade show facilities, IAAPA hosted thousands of leisure professionals.The exhibitors presented their innovations, technology and ideas during the demonstartions, education coferences, special events and EDUTours.

One of the exhibitors that generated the most interest among visitors was ImSim from Portugal. The history of ImSim couldn’t be told without a brief description of its “mother” company SIRMAF which is bound to the highest quality and delivery time standards, fulfilling orders of special machines. These are designed and manufactured in-house for specific purposes, such as assembling and/or testing automotive parts. During the last 30 years, SIRMAF attained very extensive knowledge in special machinery design, including Software design and robotics. After analysing a wide variety of markets, it was decided that ImSim was the perfect project where SIRMAF‘s expertise and professionalism could allow the development of a product that could be sold directly to the end-user and revolutionise an entire industry.

ImSim – booth 331-during the IAAPA show presented two state-of-the art motion racing simulators that provides amazing sensations through its movement, vibrations and leading ergonomics and ease of position adjustment. Visitors had the oportunity to test and reace on ImSim 3 degrees of freedom (roll, pitch, and yaw) prototype of simulator integrated with Qubic System linear actuators. The prototype feed precise motion inputs that very accurately represent crucial sensations such as grip limit, weight transfer, suspension travel, loss of traction, road noise such as bumps/curbs/gravel or grass, as well as important nuances such as track inclination, braking, and lateral G-force inputs. ImSim – booth 331- during the IAAPA show presented two state-of-the art racing simulators that provide amazing sensations through its movement, vibrations and leading ergonomics and ease of position adjustment.

Visitors had the opportunity to test and race on ImSim 3 DOF (roll, pitch, and yaw) simulator with feed precise motion inputs that very accurately represent crucial sensations such as grip limit, weight transfer, suspension travel, loss of traction, road noise, as well as important nuances such as track inclination, braking, and lateral G-force inputs.
