vrx simulator and qubic system
in sim center apex one
VRX Simulator collaborates with Max Buxton to showcase advanced motion simulation at Apex One Simracing Center in Poland.
The session made use of world-class equipment from Qubic System, such as the 6DOF motion platform QS-S25, the 4DOF motion platform QS-V20, and the belt tensioner QS-BT1, which makes braking and g-force feedback much more immersive.
Max Buxton, an experienced racing driver, user-tested the entire tutor setup and provided feedback, including on the accuracy and responsiveness of the platforms powered by Qubic System. That’s insightful, as simracing professionals have the exact same understanding – well-tuned motion systems are what elevate virtual driving to never-before-seen levels of realism. Feedback on track surfaces, cornering forces, and elevation changes provided sensations as close to the real thing as these platforms can deliver.
We had the VRX Simulator crew on hand to capture footage from the session, which will be used to promote the capabilities of Qubic System’s motion technology – both for the racing crowd and the 1-percenters seeking better tools regardless of all the available models.
This partnership highlights the increasing integration of motion platforms into contemporary simracing, culminating in a seamless connection between performance and driving physics in virtual racing and real-world motorsport.
