How to Assign a Vehicle to a Profile for Automatic Profile Switching banner

How to assign a vehicle to a profile for automatic profile switching?

Assigning a vehicle to a profile can be useful if you have separate profiles prepared for different cars and want them to switch automatically when selecting a different vehicle in the game. This way, there’s no need to manually open QubicManager and switch profiles yourself.

It’s also helpful for vehicle mods that send inconsistent telemetry and require custom motion or Screenway settings.

Enable automatic profile switching

Start by creating a copy of the existing profile and adjusting the quick tunes sliders to your preferences.
Then go to:
Tools and DiagnosticsSoftware ConfigurationGeneral SettingsProfile Auto-Select
Choose When game or vehicle change.
After confirming, the software will restart automatically.

Assigning the vehicle to a profile

First method

Activate the profile you want to assign. Launch the game, select a car and enter a session. The car should now be linked to this profile. Note: In some cases, you may need to leave the pits for the assignment to take effect. You can verify the assigned vehicle in the profile window (see 2nd screenshot).

Second method

If you're already in a session and driving a specific car, and want it to be assigned to a different profile: Simply activate the desired target profile in QubicManager. The vehicle currently in use will automatically be linked to that active profile.

Once assigned, profiles will switch automatically whenever you change vehicles in the game.

To unassign a vehicle from a profile, just assign it to a different one.

If you prefer full manual control, go back to Software Configuration → Profile Auto-Select and set it to Never.

Auto-select options explained

  • When loading the game – Profile changes only when launching a different game.
  • When game or vehicle change – Profile changes automatically based on the selected vehicle.

  • Never – Manual profile switching required every time.
