QUBIC SYSTEM COMMUNITY

simul8master' story

My sim racing story began with a simple curiosity and a deep love for cars that I couldn't experience on a real track. What started as casually playing on a controller quickly grew into an obsession for precision, realism, and immersion. I spent countless late nights watching professional sim racers and realizing that this world was so much more than just a game-it was
a true motorsport discipline.

Building my rig was a journey in itself; it started with a budget wheel clamped onto a desk on PlayStation 1 racing Porsches. Years go by and the hunger for realism pushed me further. Piece by piece, I upgraded-first a proper sturdy racing rig, a high end sparco seat, a high-end pedals and motion platform that made me feel every bump in the track. Each addition wasn't just hardware, it was a step closer to living the racing dream I always carried.

The first games I started with were classics-Gran Turismo and Forza, where I learned the basics of racing lines and car control. Eventually, I transitioned to more hardcore simulators like iRacing, and Assetto Corsa, where every race felt like a true test of skill and endurance.

Looking back, what began as a hobby transformed into a passion that shapes my daily routine, my goals, and even the community I belong to. Sim racing became more than entertainment-it became my story, my craft, and my way of living the racing dream from home.

Any advice for other sim racers?

I would tell them if you are searching and comparing different belt tensioners, stop the search and comparison and go for the QS-BT1 and you will not be disappointed. I have yet to compare the motion platform but once I do, I am sure it will make a huge difference.

Why Qubic System?

I have heard a lot about Qubic systems and seen a lot of reviews online about their products. I was also using a Belt tensioner system by PT Actuator but always felt it was missing something and the wow factor I always look for both from aesthetics and functionality. When I tried the Belt Tensioner from Qubic Systems, I felt the realism I was missing with other products. The power and the feeling of every bump of the road when driving or g forces when flying took my sim racing/sim flying experience to the next level.

Future Plans

My plans mostly revolve about comparing different motion platforms and advising followers on what path to go for better immersion and realism. I am also planning to keep dialing down my settings and share those with everyone to ensure everyone gets the best experience out of their hardware.
