QUBIC SYSTEM COMMUNITY

tony’s story

My interest in Sim Racing began in the spring of 2021, when I drove the PS5 GT game for over 100 hours. At that time, the idea arose of what components could be used to build the most realistic driving simulator possible. I bought the first setup from Simgrade in the fall of 2021, for which I received the QS-220 actuators in the spring of 2022. In the fall of 2023, I ordered the QS-CH2 platform, upgraded the screen to a 57” Samsung and at the same time upgraded the entire PC, which got an RTX4090.

When I finally received the QS-BT1 expansion, the entire Sim Racing set began to be complete. Because the aesthetic side of the system is really important to me, I redesigned the QS-CH2 running boards and ordered them as laser-cuted and anodized. Finally, my wife made the perfect elbow pads on top of the rear actuators.

Now the whole thing is such that you could almost put it in the living room, if you dare 🙂

Any advice for other sim racers?

The price/immersion ratio of the QS-BT1 is huge. It costs less than a tenth of the other motion-generating components in my simulator, but it adds over 50% more immersion. The QS-BT1 is a “must have” investment for every sim driver!

Why Qubic System?

For me, the most important criterion in everything was to get a system that emulates the real driving experience as authentically as possible. After purchasing the QS-220 actuators and becoming familiar with the Qubic Manager software, I was immediately convinced of Qubic Systems’ professional pride.

Trust in Qubic Systems’ products and work has only grown after the QS-CH2 and QS-BT1 investments. All Qubic Systems products have been of true “Heavy Duty” quality, with the feeling that they are made for professional use.

All the components of my system (QS-220, QS-CH2 and QS-BT1) work really well together and Qubic Manager is absolutely top-notch software in terms of clarity and functionality and it’s being actively developed all the time.
